Bitcoin Mining Calculator
Free Bitcoin mining calculator with live BTC price and network data. Enter your hashrate and power to see daily profit, break-even rate, hashprice and payback.
Your miner and costs
Choose a miner to fill its hashrate and power, or pick Custom and enter your own. Hardware cost is not filled in, so add your price. Leave BTC price and network hashrate empty to use live data. The default subsidy is 3.125 BTC per block. Fees per block vary widely, so set your own figure; use 0 to count the subsidy only. Uptime lowers both revenue and electricity use.

Bitcoin network snapshot
The next halving happens at block 1,050,000 and cuts the subsidy from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC. The date is an estimate at 144 blocks per day. This calculator does not apply it to your results; change the block subsidy field to test it.

Results are estimates and do not predict future difficulty, price or pool luck. For solo mining, set the pool fee to 0 and expect large variance in when a block is found. Use the crypto mining hardware at Bibeam to check prices before you calculate payback.
What affects Bitcoin mining profit
Bitcoin mining calculator FAQ
Is Bitcoin mining profitable?
It is profitable when revenue after pool fees is higher than electricity cost. The calculator shows your break-even electricity rate, so you can see your margin at a glance. All figures are estimates.
What is the Bitcoin block reward?
The block subsidy is 3.125 BTC after the April 2024 halving. It halves again every 210,000 blocks, at block 1,050,000 the subsidy drops to 1.5625 BTC. Miners also collect the transaction fees in each block they find.
What hashrate unit does Bitcoin use?
Bitcoin uses the SHA-256 algorithm, measured in hashes per second. Modern ASIC miners are rated in TH/s and the network is measured in EH/s.
How is Bitcoin mining profit calculated?
Revenue is your hashrate divided by the network hashrate, multiplied by 144 blocks per day and the block reward, valued at the BTC price. Pool fees and electricity cost are then subtracted.
What is hashprice?
Hashprice is the revenue earned per unit of hashrate per day, usually shown in USD per PH/s per day. It lets you compare miners and market conditions without knowing electricity costs.
How often does Bitcoin mining difficulty change?
Difficulty adjusts every 2,016 blocks, roughly every two weeks, to keep the average block time near 10 minutes. A higher difficulty means each miner earns less BTC for the same hashrate.
Do transaction fees count toward my profit?
Yes. Fees are paid to the miner of each block on top of the subsidy. Enter the average fees per block in the calculator. They vary a lot from day to day.
Can I mine Bitcoin with a GPU or CPU?
No. SHA-256 mining is dominated by ASICs. GPUs and CPUs earn far too little to cover electricity.
